Now, we all hate MeToo. It’s probably what turns people here who would be normies or even Chadlites under normal circumstances into incels. But even disregarding the incel movement, rewarding false accusations with no evidence is just horrible for the MeToo movement strategically.
Originally in the movement, it was rather fair. When a foid was sexually assaulted/harassed, the movement pushed to examine evidence in her favor. But then eventually, foids who wanted to accuse men for no reason used the MeToo hashtag just to gain likes. And when short-form content like TikTok came out, it became way too easy, and these videos with a 60 second time limit didn’t allow for providing much evidence.
So why is this bad for the movement? Surely in elementary school, they must have taught you the story of the boy who cried wolf. You might be thinking, “What does a damn Aesop’s Fable have to do with MeToo?” Well, eventually, when the villagers had enough of that boy screaming about the wolf, they just stopped coming because they knew they were just being ragebaited. The same will happen with MeToo at this rate. Eventually society will get pissed at the false accusations, and discredit the entire movement. And what happened at the end of the fable? The wolf actually came this time and when the villagers didn’t show up, let’s just say it ended pretty badly for that kid. Again, the same will happen to MeToo. When the accusations are real, they will too be discredited because of all the false ones. And the very systems that rewarded false accusations will prevent evidence from coming out. This will backfire horribly on MeToo if they do not take a step back and learn that false accusations will eventually backfire spectacularly on you and that there is also a huge difference between a married guy in his 50s grabbing your ass and tits at the same time with his cock out and a teenage kid who’s clearly new to dating saying you look kinda cute and asking for your number or social media handle or something like that.
