Those who try to make a false accusation are those who are seeking a way to bring down someone they hate. When someone has been fired or socially excluded because of a false accusation the false accuser will feel as if though they have gained some level power from what they’re false allegations have led them to acomplish. The outcome may be an achievement to the accuser yet the outcome is a life ruining disaster to the victim of the consequences brought on by a successful false accusation.

Well if you mean being socially excluded from a group of friends that's most about looks rather than what you do. Bullies are popular and most of them bully in plain sight
