Which one should I buy?

The GOTY Edition comes with all the DLCs. Are the DLCs any good ie worth the money?

essentially it's cut content out of the game to sell it for extra money

Personally, I'd go for the GOTY edition.

GOTY, Far Harbor is one of the best DLC’s there is.

> buying instead of pirating

far harbor is pretty good. Rest are meh. I'd still buy the game with all the dlcs tho.

I never played the DLC’s and couldn’t be bothered to complete the base game.

What is it about

It’s sort of a noir detective story, complete with dim lighting. One of the most unique settings in the game. There is a less humor here than in the rest of the game though.

Don’t want to spoil to much, but it’s one of those with a hard moral choice that have real consequences, its absolutely worth playing.

I got a power suit from Preston's building and stored it at Red Rocket. Kept the fusion core with me to avoid it from getting stolen.

Also i have no idea what to do with most of the "junk" items in my inventory.
For example, I had found these two circuits in a security room after unlocking it via the password. Had no idea how to use them so I sold them for good money to a random trader

You can use junk in the settlement system to create water purifier, plant crops for settlers to farm Preston quest will teach you about it

I would pirate the GOTY version :feelsokman: If you don't want to pirate, then I would buy a cheap license key for the GOTY version from a website like G2A :feelsokman:

Here is an overview for the DLCs:

- Far Harbor: a DLC in the true sense of the word. It unlocks a new large area, with a good story, choices to make, it gives new armor and weapons. Bring Valentine with you.
- Nuka World: smaller in scope than Far Harbor, but it's a good DLC only if you play an evil character. If you play as a good character, you're done with the main questline in 10 minutes.
- Automatron: a glorified side quest, but good. It lets you build a large variety of cool robots that can be fighting companions or settlers
- Wasteland Workshop and Contraptions Workshop: useful ONLY if you need to build some SPECIFIC things in your settlement
- Vault-Tec Workshop: get only if you intend on spending hours on building a vault, it is actually more difficult than expected connecting all the parts.

Something I love about Fallout 4 is that every single junk item has a purpose for building settlements. In time, you will learn what components the junk breaks down into.

But at the beginning, you should simply store all junk in work benches. You should then get the Local Leader Charisma perk in order to connect the stored junk to all the other settlements, it is a must-have if you are into base building :feelsokman:

Thanks. But I've already bought it. Couldn't pirate because I'm on a console

That's cool. How much storage capacity are the work benches?

I pirate because it is free and doesn't cost money :feelsokman:

Alright I'll just keep playing hopefully will learn to do more stuff

Infinite :feelsokman:

There is a limited storage capacity only in Fallout 76 :feelsree: That's why I stopped playing it. Once you hit the cap, you no longer make progress.

Wow, nice. Is it possible to invite other people to live in Red Rocket ?

Yes :feelsokman: It is a possible settlement, although not a lot of space for building
