I did play sports, but i was nothing special.
i remember never playing sports as a kid willingly, the only time i did is when i was forced for P.E practice and even then i was always picked last. It's not shocking to be honest i was and still am comically unco-ordinated, i was pretty small for my age and weak along with not being friends with any of the kids. plus i never knew any of the rules for the games. The second i could i would sneak off to go do nothing

I only played tee ball on a team that was half girls when I was 7, and then I was too intimidated to play anymore stuff like little league. Being on an all boys team was too socially intimidating

I both sucked at sports and no one wanted to have me on their team and because physical class was mandatory I ended up sitting alone on the bench watching over everyone's stuff while they were playing

My mother used to get me out of PE class a lot, mainly due to me being very pale and also quite small and weak as a child, contributed to by a lack of exercise no doubt. I think she had a hard time when she was young and at sport or something and then projected it onto me in fact she still does it often. Only sport I ever played was tennis and I was actually somewhat talented.

I remember a brutal experience in middle school where we had gender mixed groups playing football. What basically happened was the males immediate and instinctively took the goyball match very seriously like it was life or death. The girls basically half assed it and played with their hair and I was more like the girls than the guys. I was too high inhib to be good
The goalkeeper can be the star of the show sometimes though.
