This is going to be really out of pocket, but the little small talk @The Death Devil, @SubhumanOldcel and @Onyx had in this thread is worth analysing:
@Renegade#1 are these the kind of interactions you wish for, oh so much, in your life? @The Death Devil might have many simps, but notice how decidedly void of substance the replies to him are (as well as the comments on @The Death Devil's profile are). The fact is that @SubhumanOldcel and @Onyx do not give a flying fuck about who @The Death Devil is as a person. All they see him for is his profile pictures, banners and writing style which happened to tickle their fancy for whatever reason. The above conversation was meaningless and a complete waste of time for all parties involved, its inspiration was purely animalistic in nature.
This reality is much the same for any popular user, like @GeckoBus for example. Many users might like his post and threads, but nobody takes an interest in him as a person, or even do as little as quoting him in a thread they'd imagine he would like or similar, let alone giving him a meaningful response to even a single one of his ideas (telling someone that you simply liked their post and nothing more might feel good for someone in the beginning, but if that is all you ever hear and nothing more it should get tiring). Despite his "popularity" he is still as alone in the universe as he always was, and like we all are. This is what "popularity" nets you.
