True. This is why I will introduce a rotation into my gaming sessions.

Every day that I game, I will play another game that I find interesting.
There is still so much to discover, even from the PS1, Sega Saturn and N64 era. Of course I will not forget the Sega Dreamcast. An unfortunate end for this console. I always imagine what could have been.

I don't consider it a waste of time, as those games genuinely make me happy when I play them.

But tbh, I feel like once consoles went online, the quality of games as a whole took a nosedive.

I still have to discover the VAST library of the PS2, Nintendo GameCube and Sega Dreamcast.

I wish I had not sold my Nintendo GameCube. I did not even have to sell it.

I just wanted to appease my stupid parents back then by "growing up".

I miss my PSP and Nintendo GameCube... .

Luckily I still have my PS1. But that was a gift from my all time favourite uncle, who is a total bro.
I cherish it so much that I can't bring myself to playing on it anymore as I am afraid that it will eventually break and I won't be able to fix it.

My father is an electrician and I've once asked him to teach me all he knows, like a teacher.
It is valuable knowledge and I know that he is exceptionally good at his profession because it is also his passion.
He outright refused.

Back then I was still a self hating German kid (16 years young) brainwashed by school.

I've only played the campaign, never online, but on PC.

After my awakening I've not touched a single COD or Wolfenstein.

The first and only Halo I've ever played was on the OG XBOX and that was with a friend from school. We were both super nerds, so.
We've played co-op and vs mode. It was fun, but he was a super sweat back then and owned me 100%.
It was his Xbox so I had very little practice.

We've also played PJR, which was surprisingly nice.

Good times, but he turned into quite the Chad, NGL.
He used to be super scrawny as a kid and teen and his face was ugly as sin.
Somehow he always had the Chad genes and once he left for u diversity he developed into a full blown Chad.

He is taller than me, lean, naturally and very well built. He has this southern look, dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, smooth skin, amazing hair which allows for so many styles, a great beard, if he lets it grow, and an amazingly symmetrical face with a strong jaw.

Perfect teeth, perfect skin, clean facial skin. No acne scars or anything.
Insane hunter eyes.
A mixture of a Chad and prettyboy.

And yes, he does slay. Every time we've met he had a new bitch.

There are too many option in gaming this is why I don't take gaming isn't fun anymore videos since they play the same type of game and they said games were better in the past but refuse to games in the past

i enjoyed halo reich campaign. and the halo infected mode.
B02 in my opinion had the best made maps though it is entirely subjective.

But pretty much those were the only 2 videogames I actually enjoyed from those videogame franchises

I am being sarcastic of course. I REALLY FUCKING HATE having to repeat myself, as it seems that many of you don't read the whole thread and all of the replies and come at me with the same suggestions.

Listen, I have wanted the original experience, with all of the pros and cons.

I have wanted to hold an actual console in my hands, a cartridge to stick into it, load the game and play it on that tiny screen.

I have wanted to get a bit of my late teens back for a moment, nothing more.

I know how to emulate consoles and run roms and isos.

I know all that and have been doing it for years, but it is just not the same.

Holding the original hardware in your hands throws you right back in time.

It is like time travelling, in that moment.
