Everyday I do cardio. I do fast walking on the treadmill at anywhere from 5.5 km/hr to 5.7 km/hr (3.4 mph to 3.6 mph) at 1% to 2% incline for 45 minutes excluding 10 to 15 minutes of warm up walking time. I usually cover 4 to 4.5 km distance daily.
Yesterday I did 6 km/hr (3.73 mph) at 1% incline for 45 minutes and I was overjoyed because I didn't think I had it in me. I was looking to replicate that today but failed. I realized that last night's cardio had taken too much out of me. I could only do 23 minutes at 6 km/hr after which I had to quit because my skin muscles were screaming out in pain begging me to stop.
My ultimate cardio goal is to be able to develop the endurance and stamina needed to run 5ks daily within 45 minutes.
