Yes, there's actually research to back this up. Facial symmetry is a sign of good genes and health.
I never understood the symmetry thing. Chad would still be Chad with different eye colours (perhaps even thought of as charming). I heard the word harmony - and I think it's closer - but even that doesn't fully cut it for me.
