It has always been like that. A right-winger says "cuck", a left-winger "incel", a roman poet called Caesar's servant Manurra (which can be roughly translated to "Dicklet") and accused the man himself of being gay, the archetype of the coomer was already existent in Greece (where they said that masturbation decreases mental capacities). Humiliating your opponent on the basis of sexuality (or inadequacy in that regard) is the oldest insult known by men, nowadays only amplified by a sex-obsessed culture that turns the inherent biological impulses of human males (particularly in regards to shame for inadequacy) up to Eleven.
The same thing with Adolf Hitler. This modern synonym of all evil isn't called genocidal tyrant or something else in modern articles, rather they make fun of his alleged genital malformations as a result of an injury suffered in war, his allegedly unrequited love for a jewish girl as a teenager (the incel/scorned lover archetype) and about his alleged incestous relationship with his niece (all things that are seriously doubtable and more of an infantile smear campaign than a real historical analysis about a dictator).
The same thing they do also with other Nazis like Himmler/Göring/Göbbels/Dirlewanger, instead of focussing on their deeds, they make fun about their chin/their weight/their obesity/their ugliness/sexuality/etc., unironically being unattractive is for them the ultimative insult/worst sin and not doing whatever they might have done. Even the golden state killer/GSK wasn't attacked for his crimes by the "survivors", they mocked his dick size in court. Nothing of this is new, only nowadays amplified. We live in a hour glass that amplifies biological suffering with social pressure.
