This is where he said he had a girlfriend, there was a more full version of the interview where he mentioned he had sex when he was a teenager (He's still a teenager btw) I cant find it right now though.

I just can’t see how anyone could think admitting you’re an incel publicly would help you get laid. I do believe him when he says he grew up without friends. He probably just got bullied and thus thought he was way uglier than he actually is due to the social ostracism. Fonding this community where people said things that resonated with him probably compounded his misguided belief that he was ugly and that it was the cause of his failure. All this was probably enough to make him think he was incel.

How do you even find a place like the Incel community if you had all that validation and affection?
