Replaying a game for the 1 millionth time isn't a skill, trust me you don't want to be like them. It ruins the game completely and basically becomes a chore.

This is what people fail to realize. They see the videos of people doing well but never take into the account time spent on trial and error.

I did some restrictive no damage boss fights on metroidvanias and souls games and it took plenty of time memorising attack patterns and building a muscle memory. There is also luck involved.

It isn’t a skill mog necessarily but it looks like one. That’s the point. When you’re like 15, you think to yourself, “omg, he went that route?! He killed the enemy in two swift hits?! It took me literal years to do that”
At the very least, you tell yourself “wow, I couldn't think to do it like that? God I’m such a failure.”
