People say these things for three reasons.

1. Because Its the socially acceptable thing to say.

2. Because people don't want to fathom that a man could possibly be at a disadvantage.

3. They are afraid of the Idea that they exist in a world where women are shallow, degenerate, and disgusting whores who choose solely based on physical attributes that are impossible to change.

People would rather people women are mythical creatures of good who who can do no wrong and need to be coddled like children, rather than entertain the Idea that they are flawed and need to be held accountable for their actions
