You have to get used to being around these people, which sucks because you have your sexual instincts raging and you see people living better lives than you. Yes, but it is good to reach out to other schools of thinking. There is so much to learn from this world and the older I get the more I agree with schopenhauer and cioran.
You're more into classics (Schopenhauer, Hegel, Kant and other famous thinkers of their or previous time), I guess? I'm into Continental stuff and plan to read post-structuralists (Foucault, Deleuze, Agamben), some obscure French thinkers (Bataille, Debord) and anarchists (David Graeber, for example), probably.
