I wake up for a few minutes, recovering all the elements of reality. While I'm still in the process, I get out of bed and go to my bathroom. When I look in the mirror, I realize: That's it, that's what's abnormal about this feeling that comes with the recovery of consciousness. I was born truecel and it couldn't get any worse!

Yeah, that’s exactly it. Every time I wake up, I feel the same crushing reality hit me. It’s like the first thing I realize is that I’m stuck—forever stuck in this body and mind, doomed to never fit in or be wanted by anyone. The moment I look in the mirror, I’m reminded of how far from normal I am.

Brutal but same. Sometimes when I am really bad I start crying and screaming and punching my pillows and wall when I wake up and realise I didn't die in my sleep.
