In my opinion improving yourself for others is super fucking retarded. Self improvement is a redpill cope, however it can be considered bluepill now since redpill went mainstream and got corrupted by normies. For example take a look at looksmax.org. That fucking forum is a shithole. According to them it's forum where so called 'blackpilled' people can help each other improve their looks. In reality it's just incels shitting on other incels below them. Looksmax.org is a racewar site, there is race bait post everytime on the front page of one of their forums. Looksmax.org is also crawling with faggots, and they actually send dick pics to each other!
Lookism.net is another example, those people on that forum bully others for their looks. PSL fags also like exaggerating a person's physical flaws. Lookism forum is full niggers, spics, whiteys, gooks always trying to start a race war with each other and drag each other down.
Most PUA actually degrade men and say that they are not worthy of women. Not only that following a PUAs advice willlikely get you charged of sexual assault and rape. PUAs are a fucking scam since listening to them will only make you lose money since they charge an enormous amount of money for their courses that barely cost a hundred!
Fuck any online guru that advocates 'self improvement'. Because their teachings have the opposite effect!

Doing what you Said in the title, "self improvement and lifting yourself" is a great formula to cope. But do it lightly os you can end up never training hard again because of bruises and serious impossibilities that only hard training, without someone to watch over you, can cause.
