I honestly have no idea how clothes retailers stay in business nowadays. Nobody needs good, fashionable clothes anymore. People just want to look good naked with as little possible clothes on a dating app. This is the entire goal. Dudes want to look hot in a wifebeater and sweatpants. That's how you know you've made it. If you can show up in a wifebeater and sweatpants and get your dick sucked. Even bitches don't even care to actually dress interestingly anymore themselves, they just wear the same yoga outfit everyday, let their body speak for themselves. Clothes, though tangible items, are rarely built to last. And the ones that do are thrifted items anyway, back when they built clothes to last.

Things that are expensive are things that ACTUALLY help you looksmaxx-- quality fitness trainers to motivate you, nutritious whole foods that are tasty enough for you to be dietarily consistent, gay hair stylists that at least fucking try to do their fucking job, plastic surgery, trt. These things cost top dollar, because these things actually help you looksmaxx. Not a respectable outfit.

On a side tangent about the gay hair stylist thing-- there is nothing more infuriating and hopeless than getting a respectably priced haircut from a barber or a female stylist that is straight-- BECAUSE THEY WILL FUCKING FAIL EVERY SINGLE TIME BECAUSE THEY DONT EVEN FUCKING TRY THEY DONT EVEN SEE YOUR POTENTIAL TO AT LEAST LOOK 1 SMV POINT HIGHER. THEY JUST LOOK AT THIS FUCKING INCEL AND THINK OH THIS UGLY FUCK DOESNT CARE HOW GOOD HIS HAIRCUT IS BECAUSE HES UGLY ANYWAY, EASY MONEY.

There are still some brands selling clothes for insane prices, but at that point people are buying them for the brand, not the quality. But yes, clothes have certainly not been impacted by inflation nearly as much as food and services in general. Another reason is there's probably enough factories in China churning out enough clothes to keep prices low. That brings me to another point, clothes aren't built to last, so another reason they're cheap is because they're made of cheaper, thinner materials compared to a few decades ago.

I cut my own hair as well. I've gotten some pretty shitty haircuts from barbers in the past. If you want a guarantee to not get fucked up you'll have to go to a nicer place where haircuts cost like $75+. Thing is, even when I got a nice haircut, I still looked like shit because of my ugly horse face, so what's the point?

I have a long face and some barbers just don't seem to understand that certain hairstyles look REALLY bad on horse faces. Having it too short on the sides makes my head look even longer and even when I'd communicate this concern with the barber as clearly as I possibly could, it was a tossup if they'd even listen. Some of them just go on autopilot and do whatever they feel like, and by the time you realize they're taking too much off, it's too late.

I will contest that haircuts are largely worthless as well. The only important thing about hair is the genetic filtering of not being bald. Beyond that, a handsome face looks good under any haircut. And conversely, if hair stylists judge unattractive faces and cut poorly for it, it doesn't matter anyway.

Not really i buy clothes from temu where tf can i find good clothes for under €10 a shirt or sweat pants? In local stores its same shit temu quality only 5x the price.
