Even when I was a youngcel I hated when people skipped cutscenes or dialogue in videogame

Like it's there for a reason bruh then they said "help I'm stuck" or "I don't know how to do this the game sucks" kek maybe if you didn't skip the cutscenes or dialogue you would understand. Writers create a good story or dialogue and then you skip it means you're missing part of the game too.

If you're repeating a section then I get skipping it but playing it for the first time and skipping all the dialogue and cutscenes always seemed very retarded to me. Typical of zoomers with low attention span even if I'm a zoomer too.

Most modern slops rob you of the option, so you’re forced to self inflicted torment and misery anyway. I have a harder time finding a reason not to skip them in most AAA games (in the back of my mind I’m like I paid for this shit, I’d best not ruin le immersion).

Based. It used to be 90% gameplay, 10% cutscenes and dialogues. Now it’s either 50/50 or 80% cutscenes and mindless walking segments, 20% actual gameplay that’s not even fun.

I used to be like you. I skio everything now unless the story is good. Avarage to below avarage games like 95 percent of AAAs today I just skip everything.
