The EU has 445 million people. The net immigration rate from non-EU countries in 2019 was 1.7 million. This was 4.2 million people entering the EU and 2.7 million leaving in 2019. And a significant amount of that net immigration might be from ex-Soviet Union countries which are Europeans.

Over the last 30 years the EU has gotten a net 25 million immigrants from outside the EU.

The way people write about it online you would think the EU was rapidly becoming a black and brown area.
