When someone’s pet gets ran over they’ll commonly put the pet down because it will be to much of an expensive and time consuming effort to look after the pet. Many people will commonly agree that leaving any creature in alive in their state of agonising pain is much more cruel than killing a creature. When you’re dead you do not know you’re dead and you can’t experience pain. The pain people experience in hospital harms them enough to want their life to end. If hospitals could put people down they’d be a lot less busy.

When pharmaceutical companies can keep the problems going around in circles they will do everything they can to keep it that way their power to keep the problem cycle is their income. Solutions that can solve problems are always going to be suppressed so long as those in power will do everything they can to keep the solution away just so money can be made.

There is something called VSED, which thankfully is gaining cultural acceptance. Essentially you have the right to starve yourself to death if you sign an anti-forcedfeeding DNR. That way, even in jurisdictions where euthanasia is illegal, you can refuse food until you die.
