While Elon Musk is a zogbot and Twitter (X) isn't perfect, X now has way more free speech than before. You can actually mention things without directly using slurs or advocating for violence (this is obvious).

Reddit

Reddit is a space that should be purchased. Elon should scrap the shadow ban crap/mod approval. If a subreddit doesn't want to let others post, SAY IT. X has a feature that lets only followers post, and nothing is wrong with it.

Reddit is essentially unusable due to above reasons. You can't post in 80% of subs as a new member.

Discord

Discord is a great app, ruined by its policies. It is second to none when it comes to communication, however, it's communities are infected with trannies because these groups have no life and you can't speak against them due to discord sitewide rules.

Once your server gets bigger than 10 people, someone will bound to report things for lulz. And the woke platform is making it impossible to have a big enough server that allows for free speech.

That's why in discord, you can be banned off the server for something as simple as "I prefer biological women".

Also I see it as a worth tradeoff. Reddit is literally unusable, try creating a new user and you'll see how hard is it to gain karma; not being charismatic enough to earn from other users, but because 80% of subs shadowban your posts and you have to get upvotes enough in 20% of the subs. If you got wrongthink once and down voted like 50 times, it's over and you have to repeat that step.

There's always the self-hosted path which we should really give @Master credit for since he is hosting all of this on servers he owns for us out of his pocket.

Sadly as of late this place hasn't been well optimized and times out more often that it becomes an issue. The issue with websites is that they are usually at the mercy of the domain provider but since there are multiple this isn't much of an issue depending on who you pick and cloudflare is also a potential weakpoint but does hide your own IP address which is a bonus as well as other things.
