To be honest, I agree with most of what you said, but the problem with studies showing that women don't like men who are average height, tend to not be very credible, because men lie about their height constantly. If a man CLAIMS that he's 5'8, 90% of the time, it's not his actual height and he's really 5'6 maybe 5'7. Same with men CLAIMING they're 5'9. The most ridiculus example of this is a youtuber named Dbdr who claimed for his entire life that he was 6'2 and then when he measured himself, he was actually 5'11. If you're 6ft tall, you are taller than 80% of men. Again, many men will say that they are 6ft tall, when they're actually 5'10 (that's why women say that 5'11-6'0 men are sometimes short )
