Gaming ELEX 2 - WHEN?

In 2017 Piranha Bytes got financial grant from European Union to make new ELEX game. I cannot find any further information about new game tho. PB stays quiet on their new game as well for quite a long time. Do fellow Gothic & PB fans know something more? It's been 4 years and nothing happens It's so annoying. Cyberpunk has been a bit disappointing and I really need good rpg with open world to play...

Sometimes, game developers don't say shit about their game and don't reveal anything about it, and then one day release it out of the blue, and it's what a lot of these small to medium sized gaming companies tend to do sometimes.
