The murderer, Mohammad Adil Mohammad Ismael, has confessed lately about the murder of AL-Mansoura university and these were his statements about the killing of Nayyera Ashraf:
"I loved her so much, I could not even harass or "catcall" girls in public due to my timid, shy nature. I used to be the top student in my year and I have always been the top student of my classes, I even used to be the top student out of my college years."
" I was a conservative male" he then continued, " I was extremely diligent about my prayers at mosques but when I saw her and met for the first time she stole my heart, so I decided to approach her and confess my feelings to her and she rejected me and rejected my feelings towards her, I thought she didn't trust me enough and thought of me as a devious person, so I took my parents to her place to ask for official engagement, but they rejected me because I was still a student, then I met her and she told me : how could you ask for my engagement? you're not even on my mind and I never thought of you, I never loved you and I never will, and I will never become your fiance, I have dreams and ambitions about OTHER men"
"so then I promised myself to wait so that we both finish college, I will get a job and prove you my feelings but then, my friends made fun of me, and told me 'are you going to stay crude like that? no relationships with girls? any girl loves a man whose devious and experienced'
during our second year at college, I saw her getting harrassed and molested by someone, and there was a crowd surrounding her and the harasser, so I barged in and proceeded to confront the harasser, he then beaten me infront of her. my friends back then made fun of me and told me ' you already lost you have been beaten infront of her, and this way you'll never be able to impress her' so I chased her in effort to change her views about me, I told her that I loved her again and that I always thought about her. I told her I can not let you marry someone other than me, she and her friends began laughing at my sight, telling me 'dude you can't even get to kill a chicken'
I felt so enraged, embarrassed and insulted and since then I thought about changing my strict behavior and smoke weed to be a man in her eyes, just as my friends suggested, I began chasing her everywhere and sent her messages so that she could get scared and change her stance about our marriage but then she insisted on her stance"
"Nayyera was one of the sweetest students, she was too polite and everyone liked her, I was afraid someone was going to steal her from me so I decided to murder her, I was planning to keep her head with me because I fell in love with her eyes. I took every type of drugs to be able to murder her and prove to everyone including her friends that I'm not weak, I'm not regretting murdering her because only god knows how much I love her and Im sure he will bring us together, please I beg you, don't prosecute me, prosecute those who mocked me and bullied me all these years, I don't want to be prosecuted because it's injustice, I just want to be hanged without prosecution"
"but I have one demand and I wish you can accept it" he followed... "after my excution, I beg you to burry my corpse with my head resting on her lap, please"
Moreover, during the recreational scene of the murder, the murderer stated that he "can't do it" because he "doesn't even remember how he did it" he followed "all that I can remember is me wanting to see her beautiful face and I decapitated her head and was planning to keep it with me"
he then proceeded to do the recreational scene with "unbearable pain" as people described.
