STEM still has a relatively high bar to entry + requires uni resources or research, where some specialised degrees actually still make students a cost instead of a profit base meaning that the quality is still pretty decent, compared to humanities which is basically just a bunch of reading list interpretation and conjecture. I have been thinking the same thing since last year. Jobs are really trash. Gig economy killed all job market in EU and politicians reject to acknowledge it.
