The unemployment number (which is continually tinkered with, and we'll probably learn later is being falsified) isn't proof of economic health.
More garbage-level jobs isn't a "good" economy. When thousands of good Union factory jobs and office jobs get killed and replaced with shitty Walmart and Amazon warehouse minimal wage jobs, that's not healthy.
Job quality has collapsed.
Debt and deficit are at record-shattering levels.
Worker benefits have been cut deeper than the bone.
Savings levels have vanished and emergency funds depleted.
Families can't sustain a single missed paycheck.
The only "strong" part of the economy is corporate profits and stock markets.
