I realized that the prison metapher was often used to talk about 20th century "totalitarian" experiences or other forms of uncucked regimes. In fact, all regimes are a prison of some sort. The current ruling class would have been the one in chains if some other form of prison were to be founded, and they know it. That's why they use propaganda to make us fear some kind of prisons where we wouldn't actually be the prisonners, and where they would.
