For whatever reason, a lack of sunlight has a far greater effect on my emotional state than anything else.

I'm starting to feel at unease about my loneliness, even though it usually doesn't bother me all that much.

I'd think I'm far more inclined to enjoy this time of year as it means less normies are out and about, but my mind says otherwise.

might sound gay but taking vitamin D supplements and getting an artificial sunlight lamp/window can make a difference. can't help it that as humans we are so affected by the seasonal sun changes, but this kind of stuff can alleviate some of the effects. soon the sun will be going down by 4PM here so I rely on this shit.

I hate the light

I thought this was the factor last year so I started supplementing with 8000IU daily
(I don't know if this dosage is sustainable in the long run, but from what I've read you can't really overdose)

I've been on this regimen for a year so I doubt I could have any substantial deficit anymore.

As a child winter depressed me more because during the summer months I was happier on average singe I was yet to be consumed by my impending doom and loneliness. Now my mood is stable all year round, stable depression

are you saying you stayed on that dosage throughout the summer months? it would've been better to come off them in the summer and start them again in the winter to avoid building tolerance and actually feel the boost.

either way, if the supplement route isn't working out for you, you really should consider getting a fake sunlight lamp. I know it sounds kind of dumb but it can help. I have one that looks like a window (I live in a basement) and I noticed an overall difference in my mood after having it for a few months in the winter last year.

Taking them in the summer is a no-go afaik, I started that regimen a year ago is what I wanted to say.

I'll take a look at the lamps, this shit is really getting to me.
