Those blessed with normal non protruding ears cannot see how detrimental it is to have ears that stick out and make you look like a literal monkey. It is the first anyone notices on you apart from height (which is also a bad stat for me).

It's is indeed an important aspect not talked about enough. Although on one hand having mma fighter ears might make you look tough.

My ears are flat on my head, I can’t wear earphones or those bud things cause they fall out

unless you have deformed tier ears it shouldn't be much of an issue besides it's easy to get surgery for them

There is a surgery for almost anything. Yes, no one has focused on ears alone, but coupled with other bad features it looks primitive and ugly.
