I recently graduated HS, and the occassions on which I can meet my couple of friends from there are becoming more and more rare. I might get invited to a house party once in a blue moon and speak to them, but that's kinda it. They're focused on their MTBs more than on me, for obvious reasons, but here's the thing. I am always the one to check up on people and to initiate convos, whether it comes to irl or online friends. But no one ever checks up on me, DMs me first or asks how I'm doing. Most that I get is a meme sent to me sometimes. I find that this is even more blackpilling than the lack of affection from foids. Do looks play a role in this too? Because all of my friends are usually sub5 as well. Those can be my day ones that I'm very tight with, so are they simply busy with their own lives? Do they somehow sense my despair over life and overall negativity so they avoid talking to me? Curious to hear about your takes on this and personal experience.
