Doesn't sound like a situation where lowering one's inhibition would be something desirable.

Mass apply, find a new job and be sure to establish some boundaries from the start in this new one, even if it means getting into a physical fight for it. Bullies are cowards and will never pick someone who hits back as a target. But once you've already been established as the pussy victim, they'll get bold and it's very hard to change the situation.
