After spending some time on here it seems like misanthropy is pretty common. For me i would say it's double sided, i do often have misanthropic thoughts and often detest other people, and want nothing to do with them. While at the same time i want to friendly, make friends be positive and help others. Something i've wanted for so long is to be important, to be liked and to like others, to form deep relationships. No one has connected with me like that, maybe ever. All the kinds of relationships i yearn so much for have so often been unrequited, it hurts honestly. I would love to be skilled and use that skill, knowledge and ability in a productive way to make others lives better. The thing is that i'm not able to, hopefully one day though.
