The gameplay looks brainless and lacking any challenge. I watched some videos of it on YouTube and it's yet another slop sandbox game with copy and pasted mini mini-games.
How did this take Nintendo a decade to make? Pure and utter incompetence.

Outside of the copy and pasted mini game rooms, the game has the usual banjo tier slop collectibles spammed across every corner of the map.

And ofc game journalists suck it off seeing as how they barely play any games and love anything video game disney shits out.

It's still a better game than Mario Odyssey as at least you can smash terrain, while Mario is fully static. But there are no physics involved and you can only destroy some parts of the levels which devs prepared for you. This is even less advanced than Red Faction 1 that got released in 2001 or Minecraft. Nintendy never fails to disappoint, they always release something that was already done years if not several decades ago but in less advanced and less fun state, and yet those soycucks still buy it and act like it's a most novel thing and that tendy just invented a new wheel.

Tendy Manchilds really think that:
BOTW have invented open world games, weapon destruction mechanics, physics and modern cartoon washed out artstyle
TOTK have invented most advanced physics simulation (we forget about botw having it too as we have memory of a goldfish)

DKB have invented terrain deformation
Mario Kart have invented racing genre
Smash have invented fighting games genre
Splatoon have invented gyro aiming and a third person mp shooters

Yeah, I liked the semi realistic stylized art style they used to have. Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is another example. It looks amazing and unique to this day despite being on weaker hardware than Bananza

"just" 8 years They could easily launch it on Switch 1 but decided to say screw it we ain't wasting time on optimization because we are most incompetent hacks on the planet. Switch 2 version still drops constantly below 60fps when hitting too many voxels at same time. Gaming is truly dead.
