Serious Dogs and Cats Get It, Why Can't People ?

I've had only two dogs as a kid but mostly had cats growing up, and they've always loved me for who I was. They don't care how weird or subhuman looking or even angry and bitter I am, they miss me when I'm gone, they recognize me as a human being with feelings who just needs a little love, and they always somehow manage to know when you need it the most. How in the fuck did we come to a point in society where animals literally have more brains and common sense than full grown adult humans ?

Get a sibling so they won't be alone if you're not at home too often. Dogs are cool and just as loyal but NEED you alot more than cats do, and depending on the dog, they need a little more maintenance (playing, walking, a big yard to run around in, which my apartment doesn't have). Also, I know opinions on this vary, but keep them inside. Too many dangers out there, ie, wild animals, rabies, poisonous insects and plants, moving vehicles, cruel humans. Studies show they live at least 3 to 5 years longer than cats that you allow to roam outside.

My cat sleeps in the house i made for him rn, I used cardboard and it got a nice window too, Quite comfy mangs.
