Discussion Does the area you live in put you off going outside?

I think if I lived in a nicer area and went to nicer shops and stuff... I'd be more ok with going outside during the day when things are most lively, or during the middle of the night when it's the most risky.

As it is I mostly go out around twilight, probably because it's quiet and peaceful.

Yes. During the day there are a lot of people outside, especially young loud ones, and during the night there are loud drunks outside and all the stores are closed at night so I can't even go buy food or anything.

I usually go outside at evening, it is usually fairly quiet.

I live in the beautiful country of South Africa, where you can get your throat slit in broad daylight. I seldomly go outside and if I do it's to buy snacks and soydrinks. I don't think living in a nicer area would encourage me to go outside

I remember one time I went into the posh supermarket and then immediately afterwards went into the... I guess normie supermarket. Maybe a 4/10 while the other was basically a 10/10.

The difference was huge. Screaming kids in the 4/10 one, chaos, etc. It's like nobody has any real clue how to behave, or at least many people don't.

I met a guy in university who was clearly ND like me, but he grew up in a town in the mountains that was extremely small so everyone knew eachother, and had a lot of tourism so restaurants and places were always offering gigs to the few teenagers who lived there, and had beautiful hiking trails, and an amazy community, events and culture, so he grew up more socially integrated than the Chads in my polluted city with failing economy.

He was still better looking and smarter than me, but locationpill is definetly real. He was unaware and had the balls to complain that growing up there was isolated and lonely, when he would've been an incel and slit his wrists long ago in an alienating city like mine.

Living in a rural area is gonna ruin your chances significantly unless you are in the top 10% by looks. Not only did all the bitches lose their virginity to jocks but in this situation you actually know those jocks and they bullied you in school.
