Western women have more rights than men and and only a fraction of the responsibility to bear. A woman's options for dating, sex and relationships are almost limitless and diversity quotas allow her to climb higher than her ability would normally allow for in many careers. However, despite all of that, life on the other side of the wall is for many women unhappy. No Chad. No kids. Now, you can argue that their life is still 100 times better and easier than ours, and you'd be right, but life without Chad hits them hard.
So what about societies where religion and traditional values are the order of the day? They have much less choice but it can be argued that they feel more long term contentment. Although they may be limited to having a relationship with a sub-8 male who cannot sexually arouse them, they have stability, children who love them and a genuine emotional connection with their husband. You have to remember that most women did not support feminism. Gender roles made perfect sense to the women who played the role of woman.
There is a case to be made for each. Which do you think makes women happier?
