Sorry if this is off-topic, but I wanted to ask you something since I don't get to talk to South Africans often (or at all, really).
Are the farm murders and possible civil war stuff true?
Is South Africa really on the brink of collapse?
Or is it just fear mongering?
Yes and no.
of all colonies in africa, SA was the last to see independance.
all other colonies revolted with civil war. the economy crumbled and only started to build up 40 to 50 years later.
south africa was a peculiar one because the entire world was watching by then. the handover to independance was considerably less bloody than any other country. the african freedomfighters at the time knew that expelling all white owned enterprize will lead to economic collapse. so they stayed. hence the white monopoly capital stayed.
curries, mixed, blacks, of which were previously disadvantaged now had more opportunities. curries already came from an advanced civilization that highly valued education. this is how, as the smallest minority (asians dont count as they came much later and for a long time had black race status), a sizable portion were able to thrive. the natives however never had a formal education system and were suddenly assimilated into a westernized economy and social structure.
SA is about half way through the time other colonies completely broke down. the pieces done by Lauren Southern were too biased towards whites. Most of the white farmers do treat workers like shit. most white owned business do treat everyone else like shit. especially in the defense sectors. i live among mostly whites. as a curry i am not welcome. i sometimes wish that there is a civil war. its not racial though. its economic. rich people treat poor people like shit. even rich black people treat poor black people like shit. most of the rich people just happen to be white.
smaller minorities are soft targets. the colonialists used divide and conquer. purposely giving slightly more opportunities to smaller minorities and letting the oppressed parties fight it out. so curries are often blamed for benefiting under apartheid. the current SA government has announced "land expropriation without compensation".
most of the poverty bracket population (blacks) are threatening unruly behaviour. there have been isolated instances of illegal land grabs that have been dispersed by the military. however there seem to be a significant increase in the number of disruptive protests that are occuring. we just had a national bus strike for about a month now.
our general election is coming up next year. the ruling party (since 1994) is losing power. there is fear that theyll lose their position as ruling party. this might push the country into civil war. however the main opposition is also mucking about with politicians being sacked for corruption etc. i have no clue whats going to happen. poverty vote out of fear. the middle class want change. the upper class want to abuse the system so will vote for the most corrupt. its more economical than racial. the elitist class has only so much space. they need to have a middle class to pay for them and the poverty class. with non whites is more a case of every man for himself than it is for white monopoly capital supremacy.
its frightening AF
but I see a white chad with a curry femoid and i wish for civil war and total break down. a necessary evil.
