Would you be chill with being slightly poorer with less people and services running? It could be good for the environment.

GDP doesn't mean shit tbh.

The US has a high GDP, but a few our cities are basically miniature third world shitholes and no one is able to really "afford" anything in this country unless they use credit.

Maybe, but i'm pretty pessimistic about if lowering the GDP would truly lead to a better environment.

Well, less economic activity like factories or farming. The peasants would live in the countryside doing fuckall and the nobility and proletariat will reside in cities

India has the 4th highest GDP now.

GDP per capita is a better representation, but still not perfect. Just be some island without any niggers.

Gooner trait: you read GDP as girls do porn (the studio) :feelsdevil:

Fuck that, that would mean I would lose my copes.

If there's corresponding rise in living standards with GDP then growth for the sake of economic growth is meaningless.

I avoid talking about things I don't do much research on :feelshaha:

sounds delicious though

When talking about GDP you need to specify "total" or "per capita".

India has a much higher total GDP than switzerland. So if you mean total, than obviously lol no.

But if you mean per capita, sort of, yes there's a strong correlation between quality of life of average citizen and per capita GDP. But I wouldn't trade my US citizenship for a country with higher per capita GDP (Switzerland, Singapore, Norway, etc.) because I truly believe my quality of life would be lower even in those countries as I value things like civil liberties (especially free speech) too much.
