I think he means Shadow has huge shoes. I've never seen him without them (unlike Sonic) so I'm not sure how big his feet actually are.
Or... actually isn't Shadow a cyborg so technically his shoes are part of him and he can't remove them?

Shadow/Maria seems like one of the rare cases where the heightpill doesn't apply. He dark-triad maxes and is OP and low-inhib and stoic and powerful so it doesn't matter he's shorter than her.

Maria of course isn't your standard girl she's a pure unicorn of a breed we rarely see IRL
