Does anyone here shave using only water?

I plan on turning my beard into a goatee for the summer and I’m really iffy about buying shaving cream to shave. When it comes to shaping up my beard with a razor, I only use water and put on aloe Vera afterwards most of the time and I feel fine. You guys think I’ll be fine when it comes to shaping up my goatee?

I clean shave at least every other day, because i can only grow a sort of neckbeard, terrible moustahce, no goatee or sideburns, nothing on my cheeks, i'll look like like an actual soyjak at the 3 days mark, for the clean shave I always use shaving cream.
