Cope Does anyone here like rap? If so, what rap songs would you recommend listening to?

There is also a whole underground thing with people making beats to sell and posting them on YT. If you dig into that, you can find nice instrumentals.

I've listened to some instrumentals too; in fact, there's a lot of good instrumental music out there that few people know about.

can you recommend some? im curious

Hey, I'm glad you liked it!!! I've introduced this type of music to some people I know in real life and they didn't like it, saying the music was """boring"""
Well its kinda interesting, a lot of people experience genres like vaporwave, synthwave, barberbeats as very understimulating. I wonder sometimes if there is physiological reason - maybe they are less stressed than us to begin with and so this stuff just sounds like elevator music. Or their hearing is different so they cant hear certain notes and the music just sounds weird.

for example one time I showed this to someone and they said it just sounds like the same sound repeating over and over like de de de de de de

Another thing is that I primarily hear music after I feel an emotion already. So if I am relaxed, I put on relaxing music. But a lot of people seem to experience music the inverse way - they hear music and it relaxes them. There is no way for me to listen to music when Im stressed and have it calm me down lmao, it just becomes fucking annoying.

Dude, I think the exact same thing too LOL! When I'm stressed or SUPER hyped up, I listen to aggressive music like rock, heavy metal, or really aggressive rap/trap.
When I'm relaxed and happy, I put on chill/relaxing music like the ones I showed you. So in that sense, we have the same way of dealing with music

I think it counts as rap, Gone Guru by lifeseeker
