I listen to both! hahaha I'm an eclectic person, so I listen to various genres of music.

I consider them rappers, yes, I was even listening to Juice World yesterday, the song is called: Bandit.
 
I hate rap but one of the only rap songs I like is the normie song made by Kanye "stronger."

This song was the first one I heard from Kanye West. For those who aren't big fans of gangster rap, Kanye West is one of the best rappers to listen to, in my opinion.

Yeah, gangster rap is not my thing. Kanye is a different breed of rap, I don't know if I could even put it in the same category since his stuff is so different.

I agree, Kanye West became a huge phenomenon worldwide in the music scene because he broke through the bubble.
 
I listen to memphis rap personally
 
I mainly listen to 90s East Coast. 7th Chamber by Wu Tang Clan is a good one. Deadly Habitz by Gang Starr is another good one.

Its important to read up on viper to get him a bit better. He basically is a talented crackhead who made underground rap and is considered inventor of cloudrap. His early pre-crack albums are best, the video here is a fan compilaiton of his best shit. At some point later in life he had a crack phase where he released 100s of albums a year which were all just shuffled versions of old shit he did. He became a meme for a while and eventually got arrested for kidnapping a woman and alledgely keeping her in his garage for years. Whether thats true or not, idk, but he is in jail for long time. Music is still good though. He also got piano lessons when young, so yeah, talented guy but fell off at some point.

I used to listen to Odd Future, but i find that rapping doesn't have as much replay value as other genres of music
