When I was a child, I had two phobias.
1. To be above the ground in a "menacing" environment.
Hard to describe, but I had the need to be sitting on some container boxes when I was facing a "menacing" environment, like video games having an atmosphere of an indoor parking lot. I think the car selection screen (one of the triggers) of Speed Devils (1998 Dreamcast game) is a good example.

2. To be "inside" something.
I had the need to be "inside" something to feel more secure; It did not matter if it was just tapes being the 'barrier', but it still felt more secure.
When I was young, I used to make a 'limousine' with three office chairs together, with a mattress 'welding' the chairs together, and blanket to form the 'interior' of the 'car'; with careful calibration, we would then drive it around the house.
This is what it looked like:
