Does anyone actually like water levels?

I've been thinking and I haven't played a single water level in any game that I could enjoy, same goes for desert themed levels as all I can think when I play them is "oh cool... sand
.." or "wow a palm tree near an oasis, I haven't seen that before"

Depends on the water level in question. Most are kind of garbage but some can be decent. I'm more of an ice level enjoyer myself tbh

lol even worse inertia on movement fucking sucks especially that ice slide in super mario 64 it is the worst ever
