First episode of the new season of Doctor Who of all things has decided to take a not so subtle dig at incels (odd given its fan-base has consisted of many incels over its entire run). A shame really as it's a show I quite like too I guess. Its been mentioned here before too in the link at the bottom with a video included in the thread but I still had to roll my eyes at it.
This scene basically has the new companion meeting her ex-boyfriend (Ironic I know) who is now on a planet quadrillions of miles away through a bootstrap paradox and has been incorporated into a massive AI (misread in the show as it's supposed to be AL, off the back of the guys name 'Alan') and wants Belinda to marry him and be his AI Queen. The two screenshots below are consecutive and right after one another.
Literally trying to pull the ER tier meme. Meanwhile this sort of signalling just gives society more justification to hate rejects for existing, despite this situation being a guy who was her ex. As i've always said. Society will always love to push the notions of blaming rejects for the words and actions of desired men. Also worth noting, the episode has nothing to do with incels and there's not a single incel in the entire episode. Both of which are true for the recent 'Adolescence' TV series. It's about a bunch of humans on a planet who've been enslaved by robots for a while.
This image below (suifuel warning) is the icing on the cake in a sense. It's from the very start of the episode set 17 years before when they were together. Like fucking clockwork the supposed "incel" is portrayed as a white good looking guy. An extremely stark contrast to the reality of real incels. Near the end of the episode they talk about him employing "coercive control" through his entire life... Something incels are incapable of utilizing to begin with.
In short I just figured it worth highlighting as it's yet another example of the mainstream media vilifying rejects and incorrectly framing them as some evil, white, good looking dude with a girlfriend as some strange excuse. Also quite disappointing from a show many incels like.
All they literally had to do if they wanted to put this message out is highlight it as an issue that's to do with abusive partners or whatnot. But no, of course it's us who get the ultimate blame for it. So predictable.

Also based at the guy in the video in the above thread noting that it was retarded as fuck to call the kid in the 'Adolescence' series "an incel". Very true.
