Serious Do your older male family members take care of themselves well?

My uncle is diabetic but forgets to take his insulin shots, barely gets checkups, and once had to go the emergency room due to mismanaged diabetes. His oldest daughter is always on him to take better care of himself.

He also never takes vacations, days off, and really just sees himself as some workhorse.

Have you seen a similar pattern in your life? This seems common.

I had a boss who didn't take any days off for years.
By that, I mean he worked 365 days a year for several years. Each work day is also around 16-20hrs. You can bet your ass this isn't in North America or Europe.

As much as muricans think they work the longest hours, they are fumbling about in a kiddie pool
