I've always walked like this, I once had a job where on the first day my "colleagues" literally made fun of me behind my back (no pun intended) and they did this rounded slouched back. I did this for as long as I remember. This poor posture for over 14 years influenced but did not directly cause a mixture of these 2 backs. If I straighten up to much my shoulders hurt.

Fortunately I do not have either of those back problems. I just walk straight, and mostly stare into the distance, but there's always somebody glaring at me, that I can see from the corner of my eye. If I can be assed then I stare them down back. Ogre life jfl

I try to walk straight so I don't get a hunchback when I get older.

I walked like this ever since I was 12 and now I'm 26... so here we fucking are. Plus I always had a bad back, my posture just made it worse

I can relate to the staring thing although mostly I'm too much of a coward to stare back, I think from now on I'll give them a "if looks could kill" stare-down

I walk as straight as possible. I can’t lose any inches, my posture is very good

I walk like how I would imagine @OutcompetedByRoomba rushing to the store
Ah yes, the autistic power walk

Problem with me is more the left image, can't do much about that. It looks dumb when I'm in my underwear or less but I guess I never have to worry about a female seeing me like that

Ye there’s not really much you can do. Surgery? Or is that out of ur reach

it really depends. Not sure if health-insurance covers it, I'll have to lie and say I have pain. Surgery can only correct it like 5-15% or smth, my case is quite extreme. I'm not ruling it out though. I will try doing exercises from now on, maybe in 3 years I will see an improvement. I very very fucking much regret doing nothing (working out, fixing my back) in the past 3 years though. Also never working out, I'm literally a light skinny manlet with a fat belly. Pathetic. Anyway thanks for reading my vent

Shoulders down, like the loser I am.

Yes my back is fucked. Rotting on my pc doesnt help it, im scared it will get too fucked one day. But maybe not. No healthy posture for our face :feelshaha:

Middle ground between the two in that image... And sometimes I try to keep my back really straight, when I notice it.

But in auto-pilot mode, again, its a middle ground between straight and hunched.

I look like the virgin meme

God it’s so fucking ovER

Work out your back muscles. This means pulling exercises. Heavy rows, reverse fly, dumbbell shrugs. Fuck your genetic cope, your genes aren't going to change, so do what you can with what you've got. The exercises will force you to develop better habits to progress, and the increased back muscle strength will improve your posture.

lumbar lordosis is the most gayest genetic trait ive ever seen :lul:
Guess im gay. I don't think I got it genetically though I think I have a shit chair I LDAR in

Not sure what gay faggot excersises fix it since i also have lumbar lordosis or ATP. But I have gone to the gym and it has not helped this specific issue.
I am losing some height from it too I could probably be 5'6 if I fixed it but idk how to anyway.

Traps and delta are not going to help your lower back if anything the added mass up top would worsen the issue.

Heavy rows train the lats. Lower back issues usually come from below. Developing good hip, knee, and ankle strength and stability would do a lot to improve his lower back problems. But refusing to train traps for this reason is like refusing to train the abs, it makes no sense. They are a broadly helpful muscle group, mostly serving to protect the body from injury.

Do NOT get spine surgery unless you are cornered into it. I know people who have gotten spine surgery and they have all regretted it. Always try the least invasive solutions first, and then increase the invasiveness. Do back-related PT exercises, you can find this stuff for free online these days. And do lower body (hips, knees, ankles) PT as well, because a weak lower body is very often the cause of back problems, and developing your lower body generally improves quality of life.

thanks bro, will start now, regret not doing it sooner. I'm closer to 30 than I am to 20 FML

I'm more inline with the lordosis because of my anterior pelvic tilt although it's not as severe as the guy in the image.

My back posture is good from stretching but I can't fucking walk straight :reeeeee:

Autism problems :cryfeels::cryfeels:

idk if its ATP or lumbar lordosis they seem similar or related
us brocels gotta share a fix if we find one though it makes me less attractive than I could be

I haven't been to my chiropractor for over a year but when I was going they gave a few exercises that seemed of some temporary relief on the lower back and hips along with the bi-weekly or monthly adjustment. If I find a list I'll report back.

ok thank you
although i do not really have lower back pain actually I have no lower back pain
But my back looks weird because it is so rounded at the bottom i feel like I am going to become an S shape
And then despite being relatively lean it looks like I have a gut because my spine is going so inwards that my stomach area has to jut outwards, so its more of a looks thing than a pain thing so idk if temporay relief excercises would help much.

Didn't work in my case.

Oh alright, the main reason I went was for lower back and hip pain. I discovered that I have slight scoliosis through x-ray while there.

Brutal. It's the same for me unfortunately, I can never have a flat underbelly area where the lower abs are meant to show.
I wish there was some type of device to correct this similar to posture correctors people wear rounded upper back, if those even work.

I do

I found some stretches on TikTok (lol) that help it and I’ve been doing them with seemingly some improvement

Oh yeah I have scoliosis too, I think when I was 13 and my bones were still developing I sat in a position with a curved back whilst I would use my ipad to play games on and that caused my scoliosis, would be good if I could just restart life lol.

Yeah it fucking sucks and it looks like shit, it may even end up hurting too eventually who knows. Some sort of device would be good for it but may be hard to develop, how would you develop something to push the spine outwards you would need to press against the gut I have no idea

I don’t even remember what could have caused mine, perhaps staying in the same position for too long playing in the backyard when I was younger. To make it worse my right is shorter than the left too, it’s not noticeable from afar but I can bend my left leg while the right one remains fairly straight while standing.

Yeah it definitely will when we get to an older age. It doesn’t help that I sleep facing down too probably. A device like that would ideally pushing the lower belly and top of thighs apart. I’ll illustrate later.

I walk straight, but I found my posture suck recently as I found large height loss; it is like my back wants to give up on me, and when it is fully supported or straight, it seems like my height exceeds my morning height. I had around 20% body fat; I am going to leanmax for heightmax and limit back issues in this case.

Yes, I've been told I walk like an old man by different people.
