OK, let's suppose that technology for some reason stopped advancing after the year 2000. It's 2023 and are no smartphones, no dating apps, no Twitter, no Facebook, no Reddit, no YouTube, not even this website. Everyone just uses Geocities, Angelfire or whatever. Along with this, the cultural zeitgeist never really changed from that of the late 90's. There is no real third wave feminism, as an example.
Do you think you would succeed with women in this alternate universe? Or would you still be inkwell?

Edit: created a poll

not only would i succeed i’d be a billlionaire. i’d do facebook before mark zuckerberg

i wouldn't because i am asperger :feels:

No, but the 90s and early 2000s were still much better than today.

I legitimately look nearly identical to my avi, mab even a bit uglier. Subhuman truecels were always fucked, although most users here wouldve boost their chances exponentially in your hypothetical scenario :feelsclown:

Yo but i would be divorced now

Yes because I wouldn’t have been an aspie, have adhd or have the distractions of cellphones that destroyed my life

In pre-2001, no, perhaps in pre-1981

Absolutely not

Maybe in my mother country, but not here

I think so, but it would've been even better in the 70s to 80s

Call me fakecel all you want, but as a teen, boomer foids viewed me positively, and on more than one occasion I would have a neighborhood or church lady eager for me to be set up with her daughter, but this was around the cusp when social media started getting stronger and it was easier for foids to meet "more exciting" guys online

Before the rise of feminism, yes
