Do you think GPU prices will ever go back to normal?

My guess it's simply no. People cope saying "when bitcoin becomes worthless then the prices are gonna go back to normal because it's not gonna be profitable anymore" but they ignore that if it's not bitcoin, another crypto will take its place and mining will be profitable so miners will keep buying a lot of high end GPUs and prices will never go down. The only possibility is that the whole crypto bubble bursts (not gonna happen) or that governments start taxing miners or regulating the sector so some people will desist, this is more realistic but still it would take years and miners would go to countries without regulation.

I remember 5 years ago when I built my PC and components were still affordable (I got an R9 380 for a bit more than 200€, try finding a good GPU for that price now) so buying a pre-built PC was a waste of money, but now it seems like a much better option than paying for overpriced GPUs that cost more than some really good pre-built PCs. I never cared about graphics too much anyway, if I can play in ultra great but if I have to play in medium no big deal, The Witcher 3 still looked great on medium with the R9 380 kek.

Brootal noreplypill kek

Well the prices of nvidia's rtx 30 series are half the price of the rtx 20 series, and they have the same performance. So I think over time the quality/price ratio improves

eth is clearly in a massive bubble lol, price will crash eventually, only question is how far

meanwhile im cleaning out GPU stocks to make a few extra dollars a month ;) ;) :feelsLightsaber:

If it’s by design to crash there can be no telling but I’m sure OP is talking about some sort of like processor

Eh, I'm not too worried. All the games I play are old, so I don't need the current high-end GPUs for my computers. Last year's models will work well enough for me.

Pretty much the same tbh, I rarely buy games at launch so it doesn't affect me. But it must be suifuel for those who like to be the first to play games and with ultra graphics only kek.

Yeah, I've never understood the race to play new games as soon as humanly possible. Slow and steady wins the race, and finds out from reviews if they got ripped off or not. :feelsLSD:

Best example is Cyberpunk 2077. So much hype and preorders but the game was completely broken with tons of bugs and glitches, and very downgraded from the trailers. For this specific case my PC doesn't have the minimum specs but for example in 2017 I was waiting for Mass Effect Andromeda and the game was sheit so I'm glad I didn't preorder it back then.

I'm just glad I didn't try No Man's Sky before hearing the reviews, kek. I guess it never really delivered on encountering other players, and I heard the ending apparently sucks ass.

Graphics wise it looked like a promising game ngl but the drawn out combat playing would probably get old quickly. Not many good video games after the pandemic and lockdowns started tbh

Fuck niggercoins

it's not just crypto, but it's also TARIFFs, and just plain gaming demand due to ugly nerds failing under hypergamy.

Ugly nerds with money could have spent this money gambling on dating market, but that's a BIG FAIL, so they just retreat into gaming, bidding up GPUs.

Can't trust paid reviews these days.

No, I meant people's genuine impressions of the game, which you'd find in comments, or on message boards, or whatever. I wouldn't even use gaming """journalism""" to wipe my ass; too coarse and low quality.

They will at some point but maybe only since rtx 4000

Maybe if the semiconductor production finally catches up, but that will take years.

maybe if the chip factorys in texas and Japan are operational again, but those where mostly trouble for car-chips though

eventually yes. but it's suifel tbh when my dad built my computer as a kid that's when bitcoin shit first was first really popping for normies, then recently i asked my mom for a graphics card for my birthday which happens to be right in the middle of the fagcoin resurgence :feelsrope:. if i saw one of the bluepilled small framed soy boy faggots that's hogging all the gpus for his stupid fucking mining i would kick his weak teeth in.

Just won the noobegg shuffle again woohoo

6900xxx on the way ;)

Hopefully. I don't have a good feeling about it, though.

Oh I'm sure GPU companies are gonna make better products cheaper for soy consumption...

:feelshaha:

No, GPUs are gonna stay pricy for at least another 3-5 years, maybe forever if new virus variants spread across the planet since COVID was a test case. Governments now know that the goyim are completely malleable cattle that can be convinced to say or do anything if the TEEVEE says it's good. So no, electronic gizmos are gonna stay high. The tech pigs are now even oinking how SSD hard drives are gonna start exploding in price due to NAND shortages too. Shitty computers are gonna fetch $3k again soon. I can't imagine what an actual gamer computer will cost, $10k?

No, I don't think they're gonna go down after this point in time

thats was 2017 dude
what gpu did you get?
Id say late autumn-early winter 2021 is when the crash will come.
the realistic answer is about a year imo

prices are dearer due to unavailablity of silicon to make the chips. cryptos are worthless. Poor curry/chinks/suka blyte+most other nations farmers cannot use cryptos. Somali cannot buy a loaf of bread with cryptos. If cryptos are valuable then govt will dispose of all the gold bars.
There is always a threat of electronic bomb.

All cryptos does not rely on computer mining. There are also Polkadot for example, where staking is the thing. And Ethereum is going the same way. Saying that crypto will Always drive GPU prices is therefore simply not true.

Etherium going PoS will free up GPUs while you now cant buy SSD because of Chia :lul::lul::lul:

brb gonna mine some BOGGED on a monitor :feelshehe:

Kinda happening right now. I can't believe some retards were buying those overpriced "mining dedicated" gpu that made it impossible for normal people to buy gaming stuffs. Honestly, maybe wait next year when we reach the bottom, insure that all retards get wrecked and magin called. Then maybe the price of gpu will go back to normal.

I've forgotten on what page of "The Great Reset" by Klaus Schwab he said it but he spelled out clearly that things will never be allowed to go back to normal. The planned take down of the entire global economy - which is causing the current shortages will only continue to get worse. It will start to hit more critical items the further on we go.

Half of the worlds population depends on global shipping in order to not freeze or starve to death and the globalists want all global shipping ended by 2030. You do the maths. :feelshaha:

You can get any gpu you want for free, all you need is a brick and a ski mask and you're set :society:
