Comparing women to animals that act on instinct is like giving them free reign to behave like animals. If they truly behave like animals then they don't deserve the same rights and privileges as men, but since they have those rights and want to be treated equally then they deserve to be punished because they decided to take the responsibility. If their rights were handed over to their fathers and husbands then I'll compare them more to animals.
