Discussion Do you prefer the TikTok or YouTube style of video website?
YouTube
YouTube has a lot of high quality content, lots of long video essays, while Tik Tok seems to have content based on trends and popularity at the time.
Unfortunately, the YouTube experience is atrocious due to their ads and their intentional slowing down the loading of videos if they detect you use adblockers. TikTok is a snappy and fluid experience.

I have never seen an ad on TikTok. But I lso use Blokada on Android, unsure if that's the reason or not, unsure if TikTok is supposed to have ads
I think tiktok is a bit non-stop for me. And it's all a bit too short and feels cold.
