Maybe it's cause of all the years of being pretty much isolated and talking to people very little. Maybe I'm just dumb. Maybe my hearing isn't all that good, idk.

When somebody tells me something I either understand it wrongly or don't understand it.

Like somebody might ask me: "when did you do that" and I might understand "where did you go" or something like that.

Am I retarded?

Yes bro, I often need questions repeated to me because I’m an autistic retard

Does that mean we're dumb? I'm actually concerned.

People often not understand what I'm telling them

I don't misinterpret but I often just can't comprehend the words first or second time they are spoken. People get annoyed at having to repeat themselves but when they do they make no effort to speak more clearly for me. It's especially not worth me talking to people with strong accents.

yup, all the time, i always misinterpret normalfags

This happens to me often, the last time it mattered was when my dad was called by his friend Feluco while he was driving so I took the call and I couldn't report his name correctly to him.

Pretty much, only afterwards I realize that I said something dumb.

Yeah I think I have this same problem. Sometimes I do misinterpret, but often times it's just my inability to properly hear them for some reason.

Yes bro, it happens sometimes.

yea I alot of times say the wrong reply to the question and realize only after that I said the wrong answer to the question. but, I don't think that's a reflection of any of our mental facilities. its just we pull for the correct npc response but sometimes select the wrong one. cant get it right all the time as an outsider trying to act "in".

wait,am i not the only one?I thought i was extremely retarded, but even if it's sad(as i don't want to see my brothers suffering even more)i do find some comfort knowing i am not the only one suffering this plight.

yup, all the time

Yeah I'm often asking people to repeat things and I end up coming off as a retard

Yes, this happened to me a lot. I think is because I see too much the face of the person talking and I don't pay atention to what is saying , must be an atentional disorder.
I think is because I get nervous too.

Only when I'm so focused on making eye-contact and seeming non-retarded, that everything they're saying goes in one ear and out the other. If I focused on what they were saying, then I wouldn't be able to make eye contact or seem normal

Yes, I hear the sounds, but I don't register the words, probably because of inferior executive functions or some other autustic retard shit.

Yes tbh in school there was this foid that called me smart and now I relaize that she was only actively making fun of me like a car vroom vroom
